When Sudhir walked into my class for the first time I felt a special presence. We got to talking after my class and he invited me to teach a private group with him. I taught the asana (physical) part of yoga while he dove into the other yoga philosophies and limbs. I was looking for something to pull me deeper into my practice so the timing was impeccable. The Living Yoga 8 week seminar offered a wonderful insight into the true meaning of Yoga: to merge with The Divine. Sudhir Bajaj, the founder of AltHeal, conducted the seminars. A Yogi himself, Sudhir has an inherent understanding of Yoga as learned through his guru: Swami Dayananda Saraswati. Having found himself with many of the outward signs of success but still being unhappy, he delved into his own inner world and it was through the teachings of his Guru that he came to understand the nature of the ego and how Yoga can assist us in dissolving it. While most westerners believe Yoga is related to the physical practice of moving through postures (asana), this seminar offers an understanding of the true purpose of Yoga which is to free our souls from the cycle of birth and death and become liberated.
